About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Home Centre Green (“we”, “us”, “our”), 110 Lancing Dr, Unit 2, Hamilton, ON L8W 3A1, Canada. They apply when you use our website or buy from us online, by phone, by WhatsApp or in our showroom. By placing an order, you agree to them.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or any other law that cannot be waived. If a part of these terms conflicts with that law, the law wins.

Products, photos and sizes

We describe and photograph every product as accurately as we can. Colours can look different on screens and in different light, and natural materials, fabrics and handmade carpets can vary slightly from piece to piece. If colour matters to you, visit the showroom or ask us for extra photos before you order.

Every product page lists its dimensions. Please measure your room, doorways, hallways and stairs before you order. We are not responsible if a piece does not fit through the access to your home, but we will help you check before you buy.

Prices and taxes

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). HST (13% in Ontario) and the delivery price are added at checkout and shown before you confirm your order. Prices, discounts and delivery costs are calculated by our system, not in your browser.

We may change prices at any time, but a change does not affect an order we have already confirmed. If we make an obvious mistake in a price, we will contact you before taking payment, and you can choose to buy at the correct price or cancel at no cost.

Placing an order

When you place an order, you make an offer to buy the products in it. You will see your order number as soon as you place it. Our agreement is formed when our team confirms your order with you, usually by phone, within one business day.

We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is no longer available, the delivery address is outside Hamilton or we cannot verify the order. If that happens, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid in full.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

Payment

You can pay by credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We do not offer payment plans or financing. Unless you pay online at checkout, nothing is charged when you place your order: our team calls you to confirm it and take payment securely before delivery. Card payments are handled by our payment provider, and we never see or store your full card number.

Products remain our property until they are paid for in full.

Promo codes

One promo code can be used per order. Codes have the conditions shown with them, such as an end date, a minimum order or products they apply to, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be added after an order is placed. We may cancel a code that was shared or used against its conditions.

Delivery and pickup

We deliver inside the City of Hamilton only. Delivery is free on orders of $1,000 or more (after any promo code, before HST) and $49 per order below that. We call you to agree on a day and time, and someone aged 18 or over must be home to receive the order. Delivery times on the website are estimates, not guarantees.

You can also pick up your order from our showroom for free.

The risk of loss or damage passes to you when the order is delivered to you or picked up.

Changes and cancellations

You can change or cancel your order at no cost until it is delivered or picked up. Call or WhatsApp us on (905) 253-0202 with your order number. If you already paid, we refund the full amount to your original payment method.

Custom and special orders, such as a colour or size we order in especially for you, cannot be cancelled once we have placed the order with our supplier. We tell you before you confirm if a product is a special order.

Returns and refunds

You can return unused products in their original packaging within 14 days of delivery or pickup. A 15% restocking fee applies to returns that are not because of a defect, and the $49 delivery fee applies if we collect the item from you. Custom and special orders, clearance items, carpets cut to size and unwrapped mattresses and pillows are final sale.

If a product arrives damaged or faulty, tell us within 48 hours of delivery, with photos, and we will repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you.

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of us receiving the item.

Warranty

Every piece comes with a warranty against manufacturing defects in the frame, mechanisms and stitching. Normal wear, accidental damage, misuse and damage from not following the care instructions are not covered. To make a claim, contact us with your order number and a few photos. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the law.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. We may suspend an account that is used for fraud or against these terms.

Reviews and messages

When you send us a review, you confirm that it is about your own experience and is honest. We check every review before it is published and may decline reviews that are offensive, off-topic, include personal information or advertise something. By sending a review, you allow us to show it, with the name you give, on our website.

Using our website

The text, photos, logo and design of this website belong to Home Centre Green or are used with permission. You may view and share our pages for personal use, but you may not copy them for commercial use, scrape the site or try to interfere with its security or operation.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for amounts above the price you paid for the product concerned. This does not limit our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If something goes wrong, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. Any dispute may be brought before the courts of Ontario.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our store or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown when you placed it.
